The original three fin bonzer was developed by the Campbell Brothers (Malcolm and Duncan Campbell) in December of 1970, the design was way ahead of its time and the Campbell Brothers had to wait for the rest of the surfing population to catch up to their progressive new boards. The Octafish model bridges the gap between a fish and a modern day shortboard. The outlines wide point is centered and trails down to a double winged swallow which allows the board to move vertically up and down the wave with more ease compared to a traditional fish. The rails are full with a hard edge starting midway through the board and travles down through the tail. The bottom contour includes the famous bonzer concaves that Malcolm includes on all his bonzers. The Octafish's rocker is low making it speedy and loose.
